Alas for this film that it wasn't released under its original title, The Mummy. That's the essence of this film, with location moved from Egypt to the Emerald Isle, but released in the same year as Stephen Sommers' excellent film this would not stand much of a chance, as it just doesn't supply the chills and action-aplenty. When Nora (Allison Elliott takes a trip to Ireland to recuperate from a heady lifestyle, she finds a dead witch wants to take over her body. Christopher Walken plays Uncle Bill, with an Irish accent that comes and goes. Lots of confusing dream sequences and occurrences also dilute the action.
