The gods and heroes of Greek mythology come to life in Disney's 35th feature-length animated movie, and it's the most witty and entertaining one in some time. Hercules doesn't take itself seriously at all though, nor does it follow the traditional legend much. The great hero (voiced by Tate Donovan) is a clumsy half-man half-god who is whipped into shape - from zero to hero - by a satyr named Phil (Danny DeVito) in order to reclaim his immortality after having it removed by a jealous Hades (James Woods). Very comic, it's from the same directors as The Little Mermaid and Aladdin, so you'll know what standard to expect in every department.
