JB Rogers
James Baxter Rogers made his directorial debut on the comedy Say It Isn't So after working with the Farrelly Brothers as their assistant director on Dumb and Dumber, Kingpin, There's Something About Mary and finally Me, Myself & Irene, serving also as co-producer on the latter three projects.
James grew up in Indianapolis and attended Emory University in Atlanta. Following college, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue a film career, first landing work experience with New World Pictures.
He served as director Joe Dante's assistant on two features, Innerspace and The Burbs, before beginning an association with legendary filmmaker Roger Corman.
He graduated to assistant director and, in addition to his work with the Farrellys, James also worked on Feeling Minnesota, and 1999's blockbuster coming-of-age comedy American Pie.
A few years later, he went on to direct the sequel to the surprise smash-hit, for which he reunited the original cast.
