Teenage mystery thriller with few thrills, told in a wannabe-clever but merely confusing flashback structure. David (Shawn Hatosy) lies beaten in hospital. His friends, a seemingly unhinged Alan (Jonathan Rhys-Myers), and Jenny (Rachael Leigh Cook), a teenage temptress, are missing. A detective (Lorraine Bracco) has to work out where is Alan, where is Jenny, who fancied who, and why, and is David lying about anything. The only question we need answered in this less-than-gripping teenage love triangle, though, is, 'Who cares? ' (JJ)
