A good young cast - Luke Wilson, Casey Affleck, Mark Ruffalo, Clea DuVall and Summer Phoenix among them - lifts this oddball road movie in which a dumped wife (Heather Graham), committed to the idea of marriage, leaves New York to get her man back, finding him in Texas. Among the bizarre characters she meets on her odd odyssey is an eccentric folk singer played by Goran Visnjic (ER's Dr Kovac). Interesting - but the fly in the ointment is the star, Graham, whose lacklustre performance tarnishes the whole enterprise.
