Edward G Robinson's only TV film has him cast as a man desperate to prove to the police that his friend has been murdered. `I greatly enjoyed doing the film,' he said. `And my closest friend for 60 years, Sam Jaffe, was in it to give me support.' Alas, poor Jaffe gets killed in the first few minutes but Mr Robinson, as always, remains eminently watchable in spite of the rather predictable plot.
