This Edgar Wallace thriller deals with crime at the racetrack. Although it's a low-budget production, quietly capable performances from Jack Hedley (who, appropriately enough, made his name in Francis Durbridge thriller serials) and Patrick Magee, as a shady character called Lucky Ben Black, should make it an odds-on favourite with the sporting fraternity.
