British actor Robert Douglas gave up a prosperous Hollywood acting career - as a suave villain he was probably run through more times by Errol Flynn, Burt Lancaster and Stewart Granger than he cared to remember - to turn to directing. After several years in television, he returned to his native Britain with American star Leslie Nielsen in tow, to make this espionage thriller. Nielsen plays an OSS agent trying to deliver a reel of tape to Paris.
