The much-teamed David Niven and Deborah Kerr - this was their fourth film together - are backed by Joyce Redman, Judy Geeson, Keith Michell, Robert Coote, Vickery Turner, Edith Evans and Irina Demick in this comedy about contraceptives, in which doors open and close in true Feydeau fashion. There's one incredible scene in which Edith Evans (actually a stunt woman, of course) walks across the track at Brands Hatch while a race is on, with Formula 3 cars doing 100mph missing her by inches. No trick photography took place here - the scene took place exactly as shot. But motor racing fans may notice that the cars are going the wrong way round the track - a concession to the cameraman in order to get sunlight from the right direction.
