Following on the heels of The Badge or the Cross (also directed by Richard A Colla), this is the second pilot film for the series Sarge, which featured George Kennedy as a widower cop-turned-priest. Here he is joined by another famous TV sleuth, the wheelchair-bound Ironside (Raymond Burr), to solve a series of church killings. Familiar stuff, with the stars able to offer nothing extra to a routine script.
