A watchableWorld War Two drama about the real-life exploits of British navy frogman Lt Lionel Crabb, who won the George Medal for his courage and heroism in leading frogmen against the Italians in the Mediterranean in 1941. Exciting underwater sequences and a top-flight performance from Laurence Harvey in the central role elevate this film above the more usual gung-ho plots of the genre.
