Bleakly dramatic suspense film about a `squealer' (Terence Stamp) who flees to Spain but finds that retribution eventually catches up with him. The dialogue is frequently amusing and the action red in tooth and claw. The delicious Laura del Sol is the girl improbably hauled along for a desert trek, giving rise to some lovely burnished photography of Spanish landscapes.
