Lynn-Holly Johnson, the protagonist of this well made drama, was a noted amateur skater and was the 1974 National Novice Free Skating Silver Medallist before turning professional and becoming a featured performer in her first year with the Ice Capades. She also played a skater again in the Bond film For Your Eyes Only. The Minnesota and Colorado locations add impact and were beautifully photographed by Bill Butler and there's an enjoyable score by Oscar winning Marvin Hamlisch.
