Here, he's an RAF man in love with Nicola Cowper's NAAFI barmaid. Executive producer is David Puttnam, the man behind Oscar-winning Chariots of Fire and The Killing Fields, and an ex-Hollywood resident as the first British production chief at Columbia Pictures.
