A Guide for the Married Man

Experienced adulterer Robert Morse teaches his innocent workmate Walter Matthau the tricks of the trade when it comes to deceiving your wife. Vignettes featuring cameos from the likes of Jayne Mansfield, Phil "Bilko" Silvers and our own Terry Thomas illustrate how its done. Gene Kelly directs a risque comedy that looks quite quaint compared to today's adultery fests.

Star-studded joke of a film directed by Gene Kelly, which surveys 'case histories' as an experienced adulterer (Robert Morse) teaches his friend (Walter Matthau) the art of cheating in marriage.

Inger Stevens is too delicious a wife to ever dream of deceiving, but you'll have fun recognising the visitors from Hollywood's A-to-Z, who include Lucille Ball, Jack Benny, Sid Caesar, Jeffrey Hunter, Jayne Mansfield, Phil Silvers and Terry-Thomas.
