One of those religious sects which uses unscrupulous methods of obtaining `converts' figures in this TV movie. Leslie Nielsen and Louise Fletcher play the parents of a girl who is indoctrinated and brain-washed by a sect called The Children of Jesus. Kathy Cannon plays the daughter, and the special guest star is John Saxon. He gets her away from the commune where she has been held and then sets about `deprogramming' her. As you can see, the title is quite ingenious in the way it has a double meaning. Character actress Louise Fletcher retired from the screen to become a housewife and did not return to film acting until 10 years later in 1973. Two years after that she won an Oscar for One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest.
