Douglas Fairbanks' last fantasy comedy before devoting himself exclusively to the realm of spectacular costume adventure. Camera trickery, illusions and athletic feats all have their part to play in this tale of an inventor who becomes involved in schemes to help underpriviledged children. The highlight is a sequence in which the inventor performs impersonations of famous historical figures; it has a great twist at the end which it would be unfair to reveal.
