A drama on a `generation gap' theme, written by Fay Kanin (she won an Emmy award), and based on her extensive interviews with women across the United States. Maureen Stapleton plays the central figure of a middle-aged wife, who becomes involved with women's lib. Miss Stapleton was seen to great effect in Sir Laurence Olivier's TV production of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. First rate performances from Miss Stapleton and the other ladies add impact.
