Scatterbrained, very flimsy musical comedy about a woman who inherits a share in a tumbledown Las Vegas hotel, and plans to turn it into a glittering nightclub. Rosalind Russell is enthusiasm itself, Fernando Lamas works hard at being the Latin lover, and Gloria De Haven shows again what a superb dancing star she could have been if her kind of musical hadn't gone out of style. Robert Alton's choreography is brisk, but unfortunately none of the songs is any great shakes. Excellent Technicolor work, though, by William Daniels, and sharp eyes will spot George Chakiris as one of the 'speciality' dancers.
