Just about the last gasp from the U. N. C. L. E. series of by now very camp-looking thrillers, with Hollywood standing in for Hong Kong and stock footage of the Sahara making do for the Himalayas - a discrepancy even remarked on by one of the characters in the film. It's a rare flash of humour in this unusually staid adventure, surprisingly when you consider the bad guys include Leslie Nielsen, later to win new fame as a farceur in the Naked Gun films. He heads a stack of Hollwood veterans, including Barry Sullivan, Ruth Warrick, Hugh Marlowe, Daniel O'Herlihy, Mark Richman, Eleanor Parker and the inevitable Leo G Carroll as Mr Waverly.
