A zany comedy with a plot that almost defies description. Shirley MacLaine plays a photographer who enlists in the harem of King Fawz to get an exclusive for her paper. She finds Fawz's baseball team of bedouins training on a specially laid-out pitch, surrounded by oil-spouts which keep popping up here and there. Their coaches are a chimpanzee and an American U-2 pilot, Wrong Way Goldfarb. Meanwhile, the king, in his jet-propelled dodgem car... well, I said it was zany. Despite the stars, the funniest performance in the film is that of Scott Brady, as coach of the American team that takes Fawz's men on.
