Colourful MGM film based on George Bernard Shaw's medical spoof about an unscrupulous artist in bad health, his devoted wife and the doctors she calls in. It's an unusual performance from Dirk Bogarde as the patient - considering he made his name as a doctor in the `Doctor' series. And it's an unusual one, too, from Leslie Caron as the wife - since the role was originally written for an older woman.
