The solid performances of an above-par cast lend this predictable kidnap drama a veneer of tension not always suppiled by Rick Husky's warmed-over script. Howard Duff is the man who realises he doesn't love his baby-doll wife (Tisha Sterling) enough to part with a million bucks, while another of the desperate women is a diabetic in dire need of an insulin shot. It's that kind of movie.
