A slick, thick-ear, tough-hero thriller that wowed wartime audiences and gave James Mason, as an intrepid British agent trying to keep a piece of film out of the hands of the Nazis, another leg up the ladder to stardom. Popular music-hall comedians Harold Berens and Albert Whelan have supporting roles and Otto Heller supplies some skilful black-and-white camerawork.
