This comedy is bright enough and has a sweet moppet star in Claire Wilcox, but with all the talent involved and a director like Norman Jewison, we might have been entitled to expect something extra-special. Still, the casino and Disneyland backgrounds couldn't be more colourful, and that cast really is tasty: Tony Curtis, Suzanne Pleshette, Kevin McCarthy, Mary Murphy, Stubby Kaye and funny bits from Larry Storch, Howard Morris and Edward Andrews and especially Phil Silvers, on all too briefly as Curtis' boss at the casino.
