Somewhere between George Orwell's 1984 and Woody Allen's Sleeper lies this pretty inventive Canadian TV production about a computer rebel of the future who dreams of being the hero of Casablanca. His subsequent adventures (after getting trapped inside the master computer) provide an enjoyable romp through the future with a little help from the past. Star Raul Julia has since built himself an international reputation with the help of his performances in such films as Tequila Sunrise, Romero and Kiss of the Spider Woman.
