A gripping if glamorised comedy-drama portrait of real-life great train robber Buster Edwards. Phil Collins is unexpectedly good as Buster and Julie Walters delivers a lively performance as his wife. The robbery itself is handled in a low-key way and the film glosses over the less savoury aspects of the £2million crime that pitched Edwards and 14 others into the headlines in 1963. Though the drama sags at times, the cheeky dialogue bails it out.
