A pretty scary this-house-possessed horror film, hampered by an unconvincing central performance (from Redgrave) and unbelievable characters, but conceptually fairly interesting. Bride-to-be Redgrave moves into a rented house on the run-up to her wedding and immediately starts experiencing the most horrendous nightmares that not only strike you as convincing, but tell her the truth about her fiance and bring her face-to-face with the horrific part of the house itself. She joined by Jenny (Wilhoite - very good) an American who feels she may once have lived there. Together the girls confront a dream demon that may destroy them both. Take a friend to this one, excitingly thought out by director Cokliss, who has perhaps retained some of his own more livid nightmares and incorporated them in the story. Seat-clutching stuff.
