A bizarre, often hilarious comedy, in which American suburbanites become obsessed with the idea that a family of mad scientists has moved in across the road. Tom Hanks, Rick Ducommun and Vietnam vet psycho Bruce Dern find themselves drawn to the mysterious old house on the corner, where the Klopeks have pitched up. Wth funny performances and some witty dialogue, there are barbs in these 'burbs!
