This overly cute, muddily coloured dinosaur picture about a young American couple rescuing a new-born prehistoric animal from the African rain forest suffers from lurching violently in tone. It would have been perfect family fare but for semi-nudity and implied lovemaking between the two leads, William Katt and Sean Young. He comes off better in the acting stakes, but both have an uphill struggle with the unconvincing models. Patrick McGoohan, making a rare film appearance, is a suitably evil foil.
