Broad and bawdy, but often funny comedy, with Julie Walters and Ian Charleson adeptly raising the laughs as a couple whose marriage is put to the test when the wife takes the hubby's new E-type Jag for a spin with a randy car dealer (Vicenzo Ricotta). A risky comedy, with an aggressive, dangerous tone, but it works! it works! , thanks mainly to the nimble players. Walters and Charleson teamed up on stage for Sam Shepard's Fool for Love.
