A tatty, violent film about a sect of Kali-worshippers, bent on creating a new world by chopping up women with axes and switchknives. Lone cop Marion Cobretti (Sylvester Stallone), a member of the Zombie Squad that tracks down and terminates psychos, locates a vital witness, and has to protect her from the bad guys. Brigitte Nielsen is adequate as the witness, and Reni Santoni is solid as Sly's sidekick. The villains overact without finesse, except for Lee Garlington as a wisecracking cop hand in glove with the killers.
