Arm-wrestling is the name of the game here, and the Rocky-style build-up is given an interesting twist by Sylvester Stallone's bicep-bulging trucker's battle for the heart and custody of his son (David Mendenhall) after the death of his ex-wife. The film is on the long side for its story, as it's basically an unassuming little tug-of-love tale. But you'll be cheering for Sly on both custody and arm-wrestling fronts at the artfully-staged finale.
