A curious cross between The Treasure of the Sierra Madre and Deliverance, this drama about greed takes place during a camping trip in a remote mountainous region. Five members of a hunting party decide to track down human quarry - a criminal on the run with a million dollars. George Kennedy and Bradford Dillman offer typically sound performances as two of the gang, bit it's accomplished character actor Jack Weston who steals the show, if not the loot.
