We're back with the truck-driving psychopath again. This variation stars Meat Loaf Aday as an emotionally unstable truck driver who kidnaps Sylvia (Kristin Davis), the girlfriend of a stand-up comic (Lochlyn Munro). As he tries desperately to get her back, the comedian follows a series of weird clues - unaware that he's the fly in a spider's web. The psycho-on-the-road plot has been seen before to more chilling effect, despite Meat Loaf's wide-eyed turn here as the menacing weirdo. All the same, it's a pretty wild ride along the jumpier parts of this highway.
