DJ Caruso

The producer and director attracted attention with the psychological thriller Taking Lives with Angelina Jolie and Ethan Hawke.
A graduate of Pepperdine University, he began his career in the film industry as a production assistant and directed the short Cyclops, Baby.
He went on to work as producer and aerial director on Drop Zone with Wesley Snipes, with his airbound action shots gaining critical plaudits.
Caruso served as executive producer on Nick of Time with Johnny Depp and went on to direct episodes of High Incident for Steven Spielberg.
He scored a success with the HBO movie Black Cat Run and, in 2002, directed the underrated neo-noir thriller The Salton Sea with Val Kilmer.
In 2004, he returned with Taking Lives, a darkly disturbing thriller with Jolie as an FBI agent tracking down a serial killer in Montreal.
