Die Another Day was brilliant! It's so Bond!!

What a really bad film. The Special FX look like something from an old Thunderbirds scene!!

Worst Bond since Moonraker. Tamahori is no action director, his sub-matrix style direction and ludicrous, cheap-looking CGI FX made for a very disappointing 40th anniversary film. Does 007 really need a partner? I think not. It's just another step in the Americanisation of Bond. All in all, very poor. Please no more Jinx, sc-fi or NZ "kitchen sink" directors.

As big a Bond fan as I am, I have to say that Die Another Day simply doesn't live up to the hype. It should have been called Do Another Dirge - it's pants! And have we really run out of proper baddies? If not, why are we beating up on North Korea? Tut, tut Bond - all in all, a bit of a mess.
