The grossest instalment of the American Pie franchise yet is easily the funniest.
Even without Shannnon Elizabeth, Tara Reid, Chris Klein and Mena Suvari there's still plenty of outrageous material - and all our cast members are excellent.
American Wedding picks up after the gangs' graduation from college.
Jim (Jason Biggs) has proposed to his band-geek girlfriend (Alyson Hannigan), and the two begin planning their impending nuptials.
But the plans are rushed because Jim's grandmother is sick and her only wish is to see him marry before she dies.
Now, we all know since this is Jim's wedding, things will not go smoothly and once again genitals have a funny way of popping up in exactly the wrong place at exactly the wrong time...
The movie bounces between the bemused deadpan of Biggs and the twitchy face of that frantic live-wire, Seann William Scott as Stifler.
Eugene Levy's fatherly pride and Alyson Hannigan's breathless gushes and curl of a smile set this movie off.
However, the movie turns out to be more about Stifler than about the wedding, as Scott's maniacal determination to make the audience laugh pays off - his dance scenes at a gay bar and the search for the lost wedding ring are side-splitting.
Here's a sequel that's not tired and generic and one that most certainly makes you laugh.
Roll on American Pie 4 - Stifler's Wedding!
