All aboard Quantum Airlines' Flight 66. Or maybe not. For a deadly virus is loose on stalwart captain Richard Dean Anderson's 747, the New York authorities won't let him land, fuel is getting low and the 247 panicky passengers are rebelling. Meanwhile, trusty doctor Daphne Zuniga is desperately trying to save an infected passenger, with the help of a noble flight attendant. Disaster movie business as usual, with a thorough round-up of the usual suspects, but this one is pretty gripping and entertaining for most of its long running time, with only the pauses for tedious explanations slowing it down. As it heads for its final destination, it's even got an ending that may come as a surprise. Frasier fans will want to check out a rare non-Daphne role for the admirable Jane Leeves.
