Salma Hayek directs Peter Fonda in this tale of small-town religious fervour. He's the skeptical priest whose congregation is ecstatic to find the church's statue of Jesus apparently bleeding real blood. More interesting, though, are the stories of a lonely young immigrant and troubled waitress (Mare Winningham).
