Not John Carpenter's best horror, but by no means his worst.

This casts Jon Bon Jovi as a vampire hunter teaming up with a boy (Y Tu Mama Tambien's Diego Luna), a priest (Cristián de la Fuente) and a drugged up vampire (Natasha Gregson Wagner) in an attempt to destroy a pack of bloodsuckers doing the rounds in Mexico.

Fun at first, but neither actors nor plot are strong enough to make it truly gripping.
