Riverworld

Sci-fi adventure based on the series of classic novels by Philip Jose Farmer. After a space shuttle disaster, an American astronaut is reincarnated on an alien world in which people from all historical eras co-exist along the banks of a massive river. Stars Brad Johnson, Emily Lloyd and Cameron Daddo.

Originally a feature-length series pilot, this novel adaptation has been reclassed as a telemovie now plans for the series seem to have been put on the back burner. A Planet Of The Apes-inspired sci-fi, it tells of a watery fantasy world mysteriously inhabited by confused people from throughout history - including an astronaut, a Roman Emperor and a Viking Warlord. Imaginative and scenic, but ultimately uninvolving. Brad Johnson, Jonathan Cake and Emily Lloyd star.
