Brush with Fate

Drama starring Glenn Close and Ellen Burstyn. While researching the history of a 300-year-old painting in her possession, a teacher discovers that the masterpiece has been responsible for changing the fate of everyone who has ever owned it.

The history of a painting is traced through its various owners in this touching slice-of-life tale, told by teacher Cornelia (GlennClose), the current owner. A portrait of a girl believed to be a genuine Vermeer, the painting works its charm on young and old, wealthy and poor alike over the years. Kelly McDonald, Thomas Gibson, Phyllida Law and Ellen Burstyn star.
