A good-natured but light buddy/road/teen movie in which four keen young skateboarders take a cross-country trip, hoping to grab the attention of their sporting idol and land a sponsorship deal that would lead to fame, fortune, and hot chicks...
The leads are appealing - there's the hunk (Mike Vogel), the serious one (The OC's Adam Brody), the slacker dude (Vince Vieluf) and the ladies' man (Joey Kern) - but the comedy is hit and miss (however, it's a riot if you love poop and boob jokes).
The skateboarding is nicely filmed, and though the action is less than impressive, this film makes an OK time-passer.
Randy Quaid has an OTT supporting role.
