The Last Brickmaker in America

A gentle tale of the friendship that develops between a teenage vandal (Cody Newton) and a recently-widowed brickmaker (Sidney Poitier). Still grieving for his wife, the brickmaker rediscovers his craft through the young boy's interest. Piper Laurie also makes a cameo appearance in this pleasant, if unexceptional, small-town story.
