Wasted

Inspired by a real-life cluster of deaths caused by heroin among young people in one town, this MTV production fictionalises the tragedies, zooming in on a couple of teenagers (Nick Stahl and Summer Phoenix) at different stages of addiction. Just as one is trying to recover, the other is falling under the drug's spell, so their struggle is depressing, if educational.
