Dudi Appleton

Appleton's feature directorial debut was the comedy The Most Fertile Man In Ireland with Kris Marshall and James Nesbitt.
A graduate of Oxford and the Central School of Speech and Drama, his career began as an actor in On Dangerous Ground and Dilemma for the BBC.
He also pursued a parallel career as a travel writer, contributing articles to The Daily Telegraph and Elle magazine.
In 1994 he formed Hot Films with writer Jim Keeble and the following year he directed the 35mm short A Sort of Homecoming.
As a writer he was commissioned by Warners to work with Keeble on a screenplay for an adaptation of Jorge Amado's Gabriela and is also penning a screenplay based on the exploits of the US soccer World Cup team of 1950.
