A sentimental drama about an orphan, Diggity (Max Dolbey), who is divinely inspired to watch over a new arrival in his small English village, Raymond (Andrew McCarthy), an American who has inherited a crumbling church. Bill Treacher is the villainous landowner trying to get his hands on Raymond's property, Louise Lombard the local woman in need of loving. Warm-hearted enough to pass muster.
