My Horrible Year!

Actor Eric Stoltz turns his hand to directing (as well as taking a small role) in this fitfully amusing teen drama that's refreshingly light on clichés. Nik (Allison Mack) is a sparky young girl about to turn 16 who's horrified to find out that her parents (Karen Allen and Brian Heighton) may be having relationship problems. Her kooky friends (Caterina Scorsone and Dan Petronijevic) help her in her attempts to keep them together.
