An orphan (Amanda Fuller) is sent to live with her uncle (C Thomas Howell) and aunt (Children of a Lesser God's Marlee Matlin) in Africa and discovers the local elephants so beloved to her aunt are set to be culled. Matlin is capable as ever, but sadly the same can't be said for the rest of the cast, so a potentially emotive message is often lost in stilted scenes.
